Mid-Level Heroes

AUREUS THE GOLDEN ONE
Aureus the Golden One
Rating: 1 star 1 star 0 star 0 star 0 star

Once a great hero known for his lust for money, Aureus The Golden One was cursed with a skin of gold by a vengeful wizard. He now travels the land as a "freak" of sorts looking for employment. With both melee and magical ranged attacks, and a small amount of casting ability, Aureus has the potential to be a great hero. However, his two random fighter/mage picks are so unpredictable you will need to give some serious thought before adding him to your army.

FANG THE DRACONIAN
Fang the Draconian
Rating: 1 star 1 star 1 star 0 star 0 star

Boasting dragon-like power, Fang the Draconian has burst onto the scene. Being a Draconian, he has the natural ability of Flight and Breath Attack. Fang uses these abilities along with his Might to wreak havoc on his earth-bound enemies. Also gaining 2 random fighter picks to boost his power, Fang can be one fire breathing bad-ass!

GREYFAIRER THE DRUID
Greyfairer the Druid
Rating: 1 star 1 star 0 star 0 star 0 star

A member of a secret Arcanus sect, Greyfairer The Druid has decided to punish those who would abuse mother nature. Equipped with spells like Ice Bolt, Petrify, and Web and a strong casting skill, he can call upon the forces of nature to do his bidding. Discipline and training from his cult has also endowed Greyfairer with the Scouting III and Purification abilities. Useful for rounding out your spell colors, Greyfairer is a decent choice.

JAER THE WIND MAGE
Jaer the Winds Mage
Rating: 1 star 1 star 1/2 star 0 star 0 star

Fascinated with flight, Jaer The Wind Mage has found the secrets to traveling in the sky. Blessed with the ability of Wind Walking, he can transport up to 8 other non-flying units across the clouds to their destination. A powerful caster, Jaer provides spells such as Word of Recall and Guardian Wind. In addition, he gets 1 random mage pick to increase his power. Used to ferry your armies around the world, Jaer is an extremely useful hero and not a bad fighter either.

MARCUS THE RANGER
Marcus the Ranger
Rating: 1 star 1 star 1/2 star 0 star 0 star

Another tree-hugging forest dweller, Marcus The Ranger is a bit more mature than some of his low-level brethren. An archer with the Might attribute and a high To Hit ratio, he can definitely do some damage. In addition, he is able to cast spells including Resist Elements, and Stone Skin. Living in the great outdoors for so long has given Marcus the ability to quickly scale mountains, navigate forests, and see twice as far as other heroes. If your wizard subscribes to Orvis or Eddie Bauer, Marcus is the hero for you.

REYWIND THE WARRIOR MAGE
Reywind the Warrior Mage
Rating: 1 star 1 star 1/2 star 0 star 0 star

Younger brother of Taki the War Monk, Reywind The Warrior Mage decided not to follow in his brother footsteps and joined the Wizards Guild instead. While not as tough a fighter as his brother, his magical ranged attacks and powerful combat spells like Flame Blade and Eldritch Weapon more than make up for it. Add the fact that he gets 1 random Fighter/Mage pick, and you can see that Raywind does not hide in his brother's shadow.

TAKI THE WAR MONK
Taki the War Monk
Rating:1 star 1 star 1/2 star 0 star 0 star

Adopted by a Shaolin monastery as a child, Taki The War Monk has mastered the martial arts and seeks to spread his knowledge. Through physical and mental discipline he has become Super Agile which allows him to easily escape most damage. Naturally stronger than his younger brother Reywind, Taki's 1 random fighter pick can boost his attack strength to impressive proportions. Once properly equipped, Taki can make a good investment.

TUMU THE ASSASSIN
Tumu the Assassin
Rating: 1 star 1 star 1 star 0 star 0 star

A member of the elite Assassins Guild, Tumu The Assassin has mastered the art of killing and is offering his services - for a fee of course. With the knowledge of deadly roots and herbs, he has the ability to Poison his opponent as well as slit their throat. Add the fact that he is a Blade Master, and his "gas-and-gash" tactics are guaranteed to inflict damage. With 1 random fighter pick to boost his strength, Tumu is a wise investment.
